Pennsylvania Gardener’s Guide is broken down into sections on Annuals, Bulbs, Grasses, Ground Covers, Perennials, Shrubs, Trees, etc. Each page is dedicated to one of 173 plants, has photographs of each and includes handy tips on when and how to plant it, growing tips, care, companion planting, mature height and spread, bloom period, and light requirements.

This is a very handy, well organized reference guide to the most popular plants that will flourish in Pennsylvania’s weather.
